Editorial policy

Trust comes before catalogue size.

The platform is designed to keep commercial influence separate from evidence and peer experience.

Independence

Paid placement must never be presented as editorial judgement. Supplier-authored or supplier-funded material must be clearly identified, and commercial relationships must not determine ratings, moderation decisions or evidence labels.

No implied endorsement

GP Trusted Tools does not infer NHS approval, endorsement, accreditation, clinical validation, compliance, procurement eligibility or clinical-system integration from product marketing or observed use.

Reviews

Reviews represent the contributor’s experience in context. Negative reviews are not removed merely because they are negative. New submissions require human moderation and are not automatically published.

Conflicts and corrections

Vendor-authored submissions and material conflicts of interest are flagged for human review. Corrections should be made transparently when evidence changes or an error is identified.

Owner review required. Material changes to this policy, the moderation model, advertising or paid placement require explicit owner approval.
